Black Queens goalkeeper, Patricia Mantey has revealed bonus owed them from their 2016 womens African Cup tournament have not been paid to them during an interview with Western Region’s ace sports journalist Alex Adu.
Patricia Mantey who was part of the 2016 Ghana Senior National Womens Football team during the AWFCON in Cameroon said their efforts in alerting the leaders responsible for it has proven futile and are still pleading with them to give them their money so they can invest in businesses which will give them income.
“We are pleading with the leaders that, that is the the work we have also decided to do so they should let us get our money so we can also use it for businesses that we can use to cater for ourselves”
Patricia Mantey also added they haven’t heard from the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Asiamah since he told them he is working on it for them since their last meeting.
“We have been going to the Ministry of Youth and Sports several times which we met the Minister himself on 2 occasions and told us they are working on it but we haven’t heard from him since that time.”
