Sending players home has been one of the hardest things technical teams of teams have to do no matter what and that has been the case in Ghana women’s under 17 national team known as the Black Maidens.
The technical handlers of the Black Maidens took one of the hardest decision by letting go 8 players to meet the standard or required number.
The 8 players who were sent home are Elizabeth Ayitey, Eunice Kpentey, Sophia Agyaakwa, Mary Awuah Boateng, Safiatu Salifu, Sarah Ohene Nyamekye, Abigail Among and Esther Anane.
The technical handlers of the team being led by coach Evans Adotey will be having another headache tomorrow as they will have to drop another 8 players to meet the required number of players after their friendly game with Accra Select Side at the Mcdan La Town Park in Accra according to sources.
The Black Maidens has been camping at the Ghanaman center of soccer of excellence at Prampram about a week ahead of their FIFA under 17 women’s word cup qualification games.
