Abdul Aziz Yakubu kept up his scoring pace in the Chinese Super League by scoring his ninth goal of the year in the win over Henan Songshan Longsmen.
The attacker, who was born in Tamale, has now netted 12 goals in all competitions and is expected to return to Portugal when his loan contract expires at the end of the season.
Only two minutes had passed since Nicolae Stanciu’s first-half goal for Songshan Longsmen had been tied by the Rio Ave loanee before the Chinese champions took the lead.

With 25 seconds left, Djordje Denic once more brought the score even for the visitors.
However, Wuhan Three Lions added two more goals with a strong finish, including a brace from Marcao.
