Ghanaian forward Abdul Fatawu Issahaku provided a key assist in Leicester City’s 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion in the English Championship on Saturday.
The Sporting Lisbon loanee set up veteran striker Jamie Vardy in the 65th minute to double Leicester’s lead after Wilfred Ndidi opened the scoring in the 22nd minute.
West Bromwich threatened a comeback with Jed Wallace pulling a goal back in the 76th minute, but Leicester held firm to secure all three points.
The win keeps Leicester City firmly atop the Championship table with 89 points from 43 matches.
Issahaku’s performance against West Bromwich Albion further solidifies his growing influence for the Foxes.
