Hearts of Oak will play Malian side, Real Bamako in the second round of the 2022/2023 CAF Confederations Cup.
Hearts of oak will depart from Ghana to Mali on Thursday,6th October.
The Phobians drew a bye in the first round and will have to navigate their way around the 2021–22 Malian Cup winners.
The return leg will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium on the weekend of October 14-16, 2022.
Real Bamako qualified from the first round by beating AS Douanes of Burkina Faso 3-1 on penalties at the Stade Modibo Kéïta in Bamako, after a goalless aggregate score.
The winner of the Hearts and Real Bamako tie will move to the play-off round where they will take on one of the sixteen losers from the CAF Champions League second round.
Hearts of Oak are Ghana’s only representative in Africa following the early exit of Asante kotoko.
