Black Stars captain Andre Ayew wasn’t involved in training on Wednesday ahead of Ghana’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations match against Gabon.
Ayew who suffered a head injury during Ghana’s group opener against Morocco did not train with the team in Yaoundé as the team prepare for the second game of the tournament.
According to the team Team doctors, the Al Sadd player is fine and will be available for Friday’s game against Gabon.
The attacker revealed that he was unwell for two days before the Black Stars lost their first game of the tournament to Morocco on Monday.
Ghana will be looking to return to winning ways when they face the Panthers in the second group C game at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaoundé on Friday.
