Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil is confident of victory against Gabon in their second group C game of the 2021 African Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars suffered a slim defeat in their opening clash to North Africans, Morocco at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium on Monday and will need to beat the Panthers to keep their round 16 qualification chances alive.
Speaking to footballmadeinghana.com ahead of the game, the KRC Genk attacker insists they are mentally ready for the game.
“We have had a couple of meetings between the players to psych each other to be mentally ready for our next game.
“The senior players also give us words of encouragement every now and then so I hope we’ll surely win our next game.
“It’s evident during training sessions that, the players are determined to go all out for the next game.
“We are really ready to sacrifice everything for the Ghanaian fans.
Ghana will face Gabon on Friday before wrapping up the group with a game against Comoros.
