Head Coach Milovan Rajevac has admitted a lack of ample preparation time has contributed to the struggles of his team’s poor performance at the tournament.
The Black Stars have churned out below-par performances in their opening two games against Morocco and Gabon at the ongoing African Cup of Nations.
The Stars have just one point from their two games and would need a win at all cost on Tuesday evening if they’re to make it to the knockout phases of the competition.

Coach Milovan Rajevac didn’t have a full squad to train with until the final week of the training camp due to issues with player release from the European Club Association.
Ahead of the team’s final group game at the 2021 African Cup of Nations, Coach Milovan Rajevac admitted the short preparatory period has affected the team.
“The biggest obstacle was that we didn’t have preparations as we planned. We didn’t have much time.” – Milovan Rajevac said
“Nonetheless, it’s not an excuse. We’re trying our very best to improve all departments of the team” – the Serbian tactician added.
Ghana faces Comoros in their final group game and will need to win at all costs if they’re to have any chances of qualifying to the knockout phase of the competition.
