Ghanaian forward, Felix Afena Gyan scored a late equalizer and the deciding penalty for Cremonese as they edged past Napoli to book a place in the last eight of the Copa Italia.
The game ended 2-2 and went on to Penalties with Cremonese winning 5-4 in the shootout despite the heavy downpour on the night.
Despite being winless for 18 matches, new Cremonese manager Davide Bellardini fired Cremonese to the last eight after the recent sacking of Massimiliano Alvini.
It was in the 87th minute when Afena was found at the far post and the former Roma man composed himself in finishing the cross off beautifully.
He then went on the score the decisive penalty in the 5-4 shootouts in favor of Cremonese.
