Andre Ayew has penned touching tribute to former team mate Christian Atsu who sadly passed on during the massive earthquake in Syria and Turkey.
The Black Stars Skipper was hoping the deceased will make it alive but sadly that wasn’t to be the case. On 18th February the player was confirmed dead according to his agent.
Ayew described Atsu as a selfless individual, one who was always ready to put smiles on the face of people.He expressed his deepest condolences to Marie-Claire (Atsu’s wife) his kids, family and loved ones who have been affected by his death.
Andre Ayew and Atsu played for the Black Stars in the 2015, 2017, 2019 African Cup of Nations. They also played in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
