Kumasi Asante Kotoko were the second club to release their kits for the upcoming season from their kits sponsors , Errea from Italy after Great Olympics released theirs.
The porcupines jersey which was unveiled some weeks ago was having the image of the life patron of the Club,Otumfou Osei Tutu II .
The image of the life patron spark a lot of issues in the media . A lot of football personalities shared their views as most of them think the management of the porcupines didn’t show respect to the Royal family .
The Management of Asante kotoko led by Nana Yaw Amponsah was summoned to manhyia to answer a lot of questions about the reason for putting the image of the royal Highness into the jersey without permission.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko this afternoon have released another kits wear with their sponsors Errea without the image of the life patron in it in order to promote peace.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko were the champions of the Ghana premier league last season after going missing out for 8 years.
They will be competing in this seasons Champions league.
