Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko and Sulley Muniru have mutually terminated contracts with any financial obligations.
In a club statement, Asante Kotoko said:
“We wish to announce to our lovely supporters and the general public that
Asante Kotoko SC and Muniru Sulley have mutually terminated their
contract.
It is significant to note that this termination does not come with any
compensation both now and in the future. It is also important to state as a
matter of fact that Muniru Sulley since joining the club was never paid any
salary nor signing fee.
We wish to extend our best wishes to Muniru Sulley in his future endeavor.
Thank you.”
Muniru, the junior brother of Sulley Ali Muntari joined Kotoko at the start of this season and featured against WAFA in week 8 of the Ghana Premier League.
