Asante Kotoko Settles Debts of Former Head Coach

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have finally settled the debts of former head coach Charles Kwabena Akonnor after legal tussles according to Kumasi FM.

Kumasi FM reported that a member of the newly constituted board of Asante kotoko, who is a business man based in Accra named Alhaji Lamine has solely settled the club former coach C. k. Akonnor owed debt of GH 180000 after reaching agreement with the coach.

The GFA appeals committee found kotoko guilty of breaches in the contract with Akonnor and the club to pay him compensation in huge some of GH 400000, but the current black stars coach was invited to Manhyia by the Prof. Lydia Nkansah committee set up by Asantehene where coach agreed to take GH 180000 and write off the remaining balance.

After several investigation to both parties, ie( Mr Alhaji Lamine, coach Akonnor and lawyer Prosper Yaw Ntow, the legal client of coach C. K) has confirm receiving the said amount.
