After the international break, Kumasi Asante Kotoko is expected to return to the Baba Yara sports stadium, according to a deep-throat source.
Following the National Sports Authority’s closure of Baba Yara Sports Stadium in September, the Porcupine Warriors opted to play their home games at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
At Lenclay Sports Stadium, Asante Kotoko has played 5 games, winning three, drawing one and losing one.
According to the report subject to any last-minute change, Kotoko are anticipated to play their farewell match against Nations FC.
The source said the top brass of the club intend to host the matchday 13 game vs Hearts at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium.
It will be recalled that after Ghana’s match against Angola in Kumasi, the Baba Yara Sports Stadium was closed down.
After being relocated to the Accra Sports Stadium, the Black Stars played a goalless draw against Sudan.
The Black Stars will play Angola on Friday 15th Nov 2024 away and wrap up the qualifying games with Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.
