AshantiGold Sporting Club new signing Yaw Arnol has rendered an apology to Asante Kotoko head coach, Maxwell Konadu after swerving them to sign for AshantiGold.
The former Bechem United winger was on the radar of Asante Kotoko and was one of the players Maxwell Konadu wanted to sign but the order from Manhyia on player transfer delayed the whole process.
After sealing his move to the 2014-2015 Ghana Premier League champions, Yaw Annor apologized to Maxwell Konadu and assured that he will play for the Porcupine Warriors.
“I want to apologize sincerely to coach Maxwell Konadu for opting to sign for Ashantigold,it wasn’t my fault to do this. He needed me badly at Kotoko but I’m sorry for disappointing him”.
“Though the deal couldn’t go through but I’m confident of succeeding at Ashantigold and I’m hopeful I will return to Asante Kotoko” he said in an interview with Kumasi FM.
