AshantiGold winger Yaw Annor has expressed his readiness to play for the Black Stars of Ghana should he be handed a call up as a result of his impressive form for AshantiGold.
According to the winger who is on a goalscoring spree, it is every player’s dream to play for the national team and he will wear the national jersey with pride should the need arise.
“The dream of every player is to play for his national team. I am ready to play for the Black Stars now.
I will not comment on those who think local players are not good enough for the Black Stars. When given the opportunity, I will prove those doubters wrong”, he told AKOMA FM.
The 24year old has been the talk of town in recent time following his tremendous performance for AshantiGold SC in the Ghana Premier League.
Yaw bagged four (4) goals for the miners in their 5:1 victory over Berekum Chelsea over the weekend, taking his tally of the season to 16 in 23games.
