AshantiGold SC’s newly appointed Coach Haeusler Henry Gerhard has stated he’s bent on returning the club to its glory days.
The German gaffer signed a two-year contract with the miners.
Gerhard, who is well known to be a development coach stated he is keen to build the necessary structures that will enable the club to compete among the best in the country and on the continent at large.
“I have a two-year contract with the club and I have an agreement with the club to develop and secure success for the club for a long term not just coming to win some games”, he said in an interview.
“I am a development coach and I know that is not just about the players but the whole system of the club must follow. I am here to ensure the club succeed in the long term”.
The Miners have endured a tough campaign in the ongoing Ghana Premier League and are currently placed 10th on the league table with 18 points after matchday 14.
