Atlético Madrid are close to completing the signing of Çağlar Söyüncü for 2023 according to Sky Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The deal is not done or signed yet but negotiations are advanced, as Atleti look to get it sealed as soon as possible.
Aston Villa and AS Roma have also made contacts with Söyüncü yet Atléti are closer to Leicester than Villa and Roma.
Söyüncü has been far from his best this season due to injuries as Leicester lie in the bottom half of the Premier League with just 17 points from 15 matches.
Söyüncü looks like the ideal center half for Diego Simeone as Atleti looks to compete for La Liga again at the resumption of club football.
