Barcelona have reached an agreement on personal terms with RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo as they move closer to securing his return to Camp Nou.
The 26-year-old Euro 2024 winner is enthusiastic about rejoining Barcelona, with the two parties agreeing on a six-year contract. Now, Barcelona’s focus is on finalizing the transfer fee with Leipzig.
Barcelona’s latest offer includes a guaranteed fee of €55 million, plus additional potential add-ons totaling €6 million, which brings the potential total to €61 million.

Although this amount exceeds Olmo’s expired €60 million release clause, it is structured with more favorable payment terms for Barcelona, who are unable to pay the full sum upfront. RB Leipzig, however, is not satisfied with the proposed payment schedule and prefers a quicker settlement.
Despite this, Barcelona sporting director Deco remains hopeful and is working to resolve the differences, with ongoing efforts to also pursue Nico Williams from Athletic Club. The resolution of Dani Olmo’s transfer fee remains a priority as Barcelona aim to reinforce their squad.
