Bayern agree deal with Borussia Mönchengladbach for Yan Sommer

 

Bayern Munich have reportedly agreed a deal with Borussia Mönchengladbach for Switzerland goalkeeper Yan Sommer untill 2025.

 

Sky Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano says the deal is done with Bayern required to 8 million Euros plus 1.5 add ons.

 

The Swiss international is on his way to Munich to complete his Medicals with the 2020 Ucl champions with Manuel Neuer injured after a skiing accident.

 

Gladbach eye Jonas Omlin as the ideal replacement for Sommer after releasing their number one to Bayern.

 

Sommer featured for Gladbach since 2014 with 272 with 72 clean sheets over nine seasons.

 

The 34 year old has proved his immense quality in the league and in Europe and remains a huge boost to this Bayern side as they eye another League and European trophy
