Hearts of Lions assistant head coach Daniel Nii Adjei has admitted that beating Accra Hearts of Oak SC in their upcoming tie will be a difficult task, especially away from home.
The two teams are set to clash on Friday, January 31 at the University of Ghana Stadium at 19:00 GMT.
Lions are coming off a 2-1 win over Aduana Stars, which saw them finish the first round of the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League season in third place.
“To get a point at Legon will be a success for us because we don’t want to lose this game and I know winning would be difficult,” Nii Adjei said. “Anything can happen, but getting a point out of this game would be a plus for us.”
Lions will be boosted by the return of former Hearts of Oak forward Kwadwo Obeng Junior, who has trained after recovering from injury and is set to play on Friday.
