Ghanaian Premier League club Bechem United has confirmed the transfer of forward Emmanuel Avornyo to North Macedonian side FC Shkupi. The news, announced on Twitter on Monday, February 12, marks a new chapter for the talented attacker.
“We have reached an agreement with FC Shkupi for the transfer of Emmanuel Avornyo. We would like to thank him for his services to the club, and we also wish him the best of luck in his next journey,” Bechem United stated in a tweet.
Avornyo joined Bechem United in 2021 from Ghanaian lower tier side Unistar Soccer Academy and quickly established himself as a key player. In his 70 appearances across all competitions, he contributed 13 goals and 10 assists. This season, he notched up 3 goals and 3 assists in just 15 Premier League matches.
Emmanuel Avornyo will join fellow Ghanaian, midfielder Clement Ansah, at FC Shkupi.
Bechem United’s statement reflects the club’s appreciation for Avornyo’s contributions and their optimism for his future success.
