Manchester city footballer, Benjamin Mendy has been charged with two more counts of rape after been charged with four counts of rape and sexually assault in August.
The French international has been in police custody since his arrest in August after an alleged rape case and sexually assault.
Mendy was initially charged with three counts of allegedly rape in October 2020 and sexually assault to make it four counts but recently been charged with another two alleged rape cases to make it six in all.
The left back joined Manchester City from AS Monaco in the 2017 summer transfer. Mendy was recently suspended by Manchester city following the ongoing investigations.
The Manchester City left-back is currently on remand at HMP Altcoures in Liverpool and is set to appear to court on Wednesday 17th November 2021.
