Black Satellites coach Desmond Ofei has invited 35 players from Ghana Premier League clubs to kick off preparations for the 2025 CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
The players will report to camp from January 3 to January 9, 2025, as part of the team’s early assessment phase.
The camp will focus on evaluating the talents of Premier League players before shifting attention to Division One clubs. A new group of players from the lower tier will report to camp from January 10 to January 15 for a similar assessment.
Coach Ofei and his technical team are determined to identify the best talents within the local leagues to strengthen the squad ahead of the continental tournament scheduled to take place in Cote d’Ivoire from April 26 to May 18, 2025.
This preparatory phase underscores the team’s commitment to assembling a competitive squad capable of making an impact at the U-20 AFCON and potentially qualifying for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
