BLACK STARS SET TO HOLD FIRST TRAINING ON TUESDAY

The Black Stars will begin training on Tuesday ahead of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match against Angola.

Chris Hughton will be making his debut as head coach of the Black Stars and will be hoping to thrill fans with scintillating footballl. Hughton who is reported to have signed a 21 month contract with the Ghana Football Association will officially be unveiled today at SG Mall in Kumasi.

The Black Stars are unbeaten in Kumasi for the past two decades and are heavy favourites to defeat Angola before travelling to Luanda for the second match.

The Black Stars players have begun to arrive, and a full house is expected on Monday evening. Upon  arriving in Accra the team will immediately depart for Kumasi.

Ghana lead the qualifying group after a draw and a win in their first two games, but Angola is close behind, two wins will put the Black Stars in pole position to qualify.
