Blackburn Rovers are still in the running to sign attacking prodigy Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Crystal Palace this summer.
Rak-Sakyi, 20, joined the Eagles academy in 2019 after progressing through Chelsea’s youth divisions.
He made his first appearances for Crystal Palace’s first team in 2021, but he has so far only managed to play in two senior matches for the Selhurst Park club.
After being transferred to Charlton Athletic the previous year, he played a crucial role in the Addicks’ League One campaign.
Blackburn, Hull City, and Leicester City have all expressed a strong interest in Rak-Sakyi, with the Tigers showing particular interest in the England Under-20 international.
Despite claims to the contrary, it appears that the Riversiders are still pursuing the highly-rated forward. Hull has already made a bid for him.
It’s unclear at this point whether their pursuit of the 20-year-old attacker will intensify in the days to come.
