Ghanaian International and Italian Seria B side Juve Stabe player Bright Addae has dedicated his winning goal to Italian ambassador to Ghana Giovanni Favalli.
The former under 20 world cup medalist, scored a last minute powerful header from a corner kick against Crotone that gifted his club all 3 points in the Italian seria B.
His team mate’s early goal wasn’t enough for them hold on to a win in the first half as their opponent equalized and scored another to make it 2-1 before they came back again to make it 2-2 before the end of first half.
Bright Addae’s 89th minutes header with an assist from Giacomo Calò ensured his side grabs a win from their visitors ending the game by 3-2.
Bright Addae expressed his gratitude to the supporters of his club and dedicated the winning goal to the Italian ambassador of Ghana.
In his statement, he said “I will say this goal is a special one because it is going for a special person like no other in the Italian Ambassador to Ghana. I dedicate this special goal against Crotone to His Excellency Giovanni Favilli, the Italian Ambassador to Ghana”
Bright Addae’s team Juve Stabia are now positioned 11th with 32 points on the Italian seria B table after 24 games.
