Aduana Stars Centre Back Caleb Amankwah says the cancelation of football in the country has really affected most of the players in the country because the only means of feeding and taking care of their family is through football in the country.
According to the former WAFA defender they are hoping things come back to normal and football returns very soon.
“We are hoping things come back to normal for the restart of football in the country because it is through football that we are able to feed and take care of our families and friends which have affected us(the playing body) in the country but we all know we were not in the normal times”
The talented Centre back of the Dormaa based club (Aduana Stars) made this statement in an interview with Nhyira FM in kumasi.
He also stated that he was really happy to hear from the President of Ghana in his 14th Address to the nation on Convid 19 speak about football involving the female national team which shows a sign of gradual easing and bouncing back of football in the country,
“I was happy to hear from the President talk about football in his 14th address to the nation about the Black princess and the Black Maidens going for camping to start preparations for their respective qualifiers, although it’s partial but it’s a good sign indicating a good call for football to commence soon in the country” said Caleb Amankah.
According to Young Aduana Stars Chap we are not in Normal times as the president stated and we should go according to the health services and the president directives, “What happened for the cancellation of the Ghana league is not normal but we leave everything in the hands of God to deliver us from this Pandemic but we should not forget to go according to the directives of the president and our health service for us to live as he has partially open door for the female national teams”
The President of the Republic of Ghana in his 14th Address to the nation stated that BlackMaidens and the Black Princesses can go for camping and start preparations ahead of their respective qualifiers but will follow the protocols accordingly.
