Kumasi AsanteKotoko has been declared winners of their preliminary fixture with FC Nouadhibou which was called off twice due to COVID 19 related issues.
Kick-off was delayed on Saturday as medics and other officials ensured that some players of Nouadhibou who tested positive for Covid-19 were not part of the team.
The way club did not agree with the COVID report which suggested some of their players have tested positive, hence the call off to the game.
Asante Kotoko is like to face Al Hilal in the next face of the CAF Champion League with high hopes to do well this season despite their poor start into the domestic league.
