Kotoko’s CAF Champions League game against Nouadhibou FC has been called off due to Covid 19 issues.
Kick-off was delayed as medics and other officials ensure that some players of Nouadhibou who tested positive for Covid-19 were not part of the team.
Meanwhile, the visitors did not agree on o the COVID report which suggested some of their players have tested positive, hence the call off to the game.
“Asante Kotoko vs Nouadhibou. Our #CAFCL preliminary round second-leg clash is officially called off. Stay tuned for more details.” Kotoko tweeted.
The first led ended on all with Osman Mohammed scoring in the 5th minute before an equalizer from the Mauritanians in the 22nd minute, converting from the penalty spot.
