CAF Confederations Cup: Dreams secured a home advantage win over FC Kallon

Dreams FC defeated FC Kallon by a slim margin to earn a first-leg advantage and advance to the group rounds of the CAF Confederation Cup.

In the opening match of the second preliminary round, the Still Believe boys defeated their opponents from Serria Leone 2-1.

Godfred Atuahene’s early goal in the first half and John Antwi’s goal in the second half were enough to give Dreams FC the advantage against FC Kallon going into the second leg.

Antwi’s goal ended up being the game-winning goal, giving the FA Cup champions a 2-1 lead going into the second leg.

The Serria Leone team concluded the game with strong intensity, forcing Coach Karim Zito’s team to withstand a late onslaught.

Due to FC Kallon’s lack of the required CAF stadium, Dreams FC will travel for the second match to an undetermined location outside of Sierra Leone.
