Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica on deadline day for a record 104.5 million Euros
Sky Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the deal is done with Enzo Fernandez currently flying to London to complete his medical.

“Important: clubs running to get the documents signed before end of the window, it’s finally agreed”.
It looked like the deal would not pull through with Benfica breaking down the talks with Chelsea for the player only for a deal to be agreed right before the winter transfer window closed.
Fernandez has signed an 8 and a half year contract and the deal will overtake Man City’s signature of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa as the most expensive British signing in history.
The signing means that Chelsea have spent 290 million Euros in this winter transfer, making Fernandez their 8th signing and 600 million Euros since Todd Boehly took over the Club.
Impressive at last year’s Mondial, Fernandez looks to continue his progress on a stellar career in London.
