The Betpawa Ghana premier league will kick start early next month which have seen a lot of clubs having their preseason.
The transfer window on the other hand has been hot as players are moving to different clubs in order to seek for more playing Time.
The Ghana league Club Association, which is porpulary know as GHALCA always organize a competition for the first four premier league teams at the end of the season.
This year’s competition which was supposed to be played by six clubs is likely to be cancelled after Asante kotoko team pulled out from the tournament.
According to Angel Sports,the tournament which supposed to start next week is in limbo as organizers are finding it difficult to gather fund for the competition.
GHALCA loses GH¢ 800,000 headline sponsor after Asante kotoko pulled out from the tournament.
Baladna,Qatar’s largest dairy and beverage producer agreed with GHALCA to invest GH¢800,000 into the tournament but pulled out after hearing the porcupines withdrawal.
GHALCA Executive to have a meeting to discuss the future of the tournament. It is likely the tournament will be cancelled.
