Black Satellites Head Coach Karim Zito officially presented the West Africa Football Union Zone B Under 20 tournament Trophy to Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku today at the GFA Secretariat.
The Satellites beat Burkina Faso by two goals to one in the final to lift the trophy for the first time in the nation’s history.
Before the finals, Ghana had beaten Niger on penalties to book their place in next year’s Youth Africa Cup Of Nations to be held in Mauritania.
Ghana was placed in the same group with Nigeria and The Ivory Coast during the tournament which Ghana beat Nigeria and list to Ivory Coast en route to the finals.
