Dan Quaye tells SAMUEL BOADU the weakest players in the hearts team, and how to work on them.

Ghana Premier League legend, Dan Quaye has urged his former club, Hearts of Oak to improve their performance to form a formidable team.

The legend is expecting their leading defender and captain Fatawu Mohammed to improve upon his performance following a poor start to the season.

Fatawu made a name for himself as one of the best defenders after last season and even had a call up to play against South Africa in a World Cup qualifier game for the Black Stars.

Dan Quaye has admitted not being happy with the club’s defence especially the right back and the center-back(s).

Quaye also hinted that the strikers need to improve for good finishing.

It is Fatawu’s responsibility to rectify things as a captain together with Coach Samuel Boadu to revive the team’s hope for the title race.

The former Great Olympics skipper also revealed his excitement for Samuel Inkoom’s Hearts of Oak move rumor. skipper lamented, “I can say that the right-back is not good. I am happy that Samuel Inkoom is coming.

There should be a correction at the right back. I don’t know the kind of football Fatawu is playing now.

It seems like he is the only person that’s why because he has been in the team for so many years. He needs to improve because his movement at the defense was low during the game against Kotoko.

They have to also work on their 4 and 5. There is a problem there. They always concede a feeble goal due to a lack of concentration. They should work on that place and the right-back but the left-back is very fantastic because Korsah (from Dwarfs) is having the experience.

“The middle role is okay but those at the striking role should also improve because. We have Awako and Muntari so they should work on that and position themselves well for good finishing.

“I can see that the 2, 4, and 5 is the major issue. We don’t have any problem at the goalkeeping position but they should work on those positions” he stated.
