Accra Hearts of Oak poster boy Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has all but agreed to extend his contract with the club.
The forward has been in fine form for the reigning Ghana Premier League champions and they have tied down their prized asset.
Hearts of Oak have agreed a three year contract extension to the forward’s existing contract which expires in 2023.
This was confirmed by board member of the club, Vincent Sowah Odotei who revealed that they agreed the contract terms ten days ago.
“We held successful talks and after agreeing on terms, we offered him a contract that reflected those terms”
“We met and finalized everything about his contract renewal 10 days ago,” Odotei told Accra based Asaase Radio.
The AFCON U20 Champion has scored 10 goals in all competitions for Hearts in the ongoing campaign.
He joined the club in 2020 after successful trials and has since been a fan’s favourite after a difficult start.
