Afriyie Barnieh joined the fray minutes before full time as the White and Blue-Black shirt lost 2-0 to FC Lugano at the Cornaredo Stadium
Two first half goals from Ignacio Aliseda and Jonathan Sabbatini ensured FC Lugano all the needed three maximum points to move up to fourth place on the Swiss Super League log.
The former Hearts of Oak talismanic forward was introduced on the 88th minute as replacement for Jonathan Okita.
Afriyie Barnieh joined FC Zurich from Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak on a three-year deal worth €150,000 in January.
