David Raya’s impressive stint at Arsenal during the 2023/24 season has culminated in a permanent move to the Gunners. Initially joining on a loan from Brentford for a fee of £3 million, the Spanish international made a significant impact, leading Arsenal to pay an additional £27 million to secure his services permanently.
Raya’s outstanding performances included winning the Premier League Golden Glove, keeping 16 clean sheets in the league and 20 in total across 41 appearances.

Raya’s debut campaign with Arsenal saw him play a pivotal role in their runner-up finish in the Premier League and a strong run to the Champions League quarter-finals. His consistent displays earned him the starting goalkeeper spot over Aaron Ramsdale, whose future with the club is set to be resolved after the Euros.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed his satisfaction with Raya’s contributions, highlighting his importance to the team and their delight in making his transfer permanent.
Currently representing Spain at Euro 2024, Raya previously spent four years with Brentford after leaving Blackburn.
