Former Fenerbahce and Hearts of Oak Defender Samuel ‘Foyoo’ Johnson has advised his former club, Accra Hearts of Oak to stop comparing themselves to other clubs.
According to Foyoo as he is popularly known, Hearts of Oak should be on their own and stop comparing itself to other clubs because of how big they are.
“Hearts of Oak should be on their own. As a big club, you don’t compare yourself to {other clubs}, be yourself because you are a big club. They should do what they can and stop comparing themselves to other clubs. It will help them to come back to their winning ways if proper measures are putting in place, ” Johnson told OTEC FM
“Some Hearts players need to {start} somewhere for about one or two years before bringing them back into the team. They have the qualities and potentials but they need to build it up because you need to have a strong heart before playing for Hearts of Oak” He added
Sam Johnson served Accra Hearts of Oak from 1991 to 1995.
