Former Arsenal and Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has express his readiness to play for Kumasi Asante Kotoko when the needs arrives.
As the brand ambassador for Hisense electronics, the 36 year old lanky striker was invited by Hisense electronics to grace the companies launch on its partnership deal with Asante Kotoko at the AH Hotel on Saturday.
During the launch, the former Real Madrid star was asked if he has plans to play for Kumasi Asante Kotoko any moment from now, he said
“In life, when I was young I never thought I will play for Real Madrid in my whole entire life. I never thought I would even be once on the TV in my life but at the end of the day, I have been there,” Adebayor said when asked if he would consider joining Kotoko one day.
“Kotoko is a big team and playing for them won’t be bad. I already have one friend there now. I have family, I know the CEO so I will never say never.
“I may decide to retire in Ghana or I may decide to be part of the board one day,” the former Arsenal and Manchester City star added.
The 36-year-old, who recently terminated his contract with Paraguayan side FC Olimpia in July this year due to Coronavirus disease, was a special guest of honour during the unveiling of partnership between Kotoko and Hisense in Accra on Saturday.
