On Sunday night in the Dutch Eredivisie, Ghanaian attacker Ernest Poku came off the bench to help his team clinch a crucial away victory for AZ Alkmaar.
The young Ghanaian player, who was born in the Netherlands, motivated his side to a well-earned comeback victory over RKC Waalwijk for the Red and Whites squad in the Dutch first division.
With a skillfully executed penalty kick, Michiel Kramer gave the home team the lead in the 41st minute, making it 1-0.
Poku found Evangelos Pavlidis to score the equaliser for the away team in the second half of the game, making it 1-1, eight minutes after his game debut.
He assisted Pavlidis once more as he scored the match win to clinch all three points.
An immense performance from the young lad.
