Sudan national team manager Burhan Tia has claimed his team will be going into the Egypt game with full of confidence to win the match.
Falcons of Jediane are currently fourth in Group D of the Africa Cup of Nations, with one point collected after a draw and a defeat.
In the press conference for the game, Tia declared his winning intentions, believing that his players can emerge victorious against neighbors Egypt.
“We respect Egypt, they have one of the strongest teams in the continent, but we will play to win,” Tia said.
Our team has a lot of high-quality players, this tournament is a great chance for them to present themselves, we have the motive to win.
“We will lose Salah Nimr’s services against Egypt, but we have ambitious players who will take the chance to prove their worth.
“Everything is possible in football, we might lose or tie, but we will play to win.
“I know Egypt national team players capabilities, but I trust my players and I believe they have what it takes to advance further in the tournament.”
