Ghanaian Starlet Issaka ‘Baba’ Seidu has secured a bright future by signing a long-term contract with Danish topflight side FC Nordsjaelland.
The 18-year-old left-back, nurtured at the renowned Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, follows in the esteemed footsteps of notable players like Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana, who have also made the transition to FC Nordsjaelland from the revered academy.
Issaka Seidu will join the first team to begin preparation for the 2024/25 season on June 24.
FC Nordsjaelland confirmed the signing, highlighting Seidu as an agile left-back set to bolster their Superliga squad for the upcoming season. They stated, “18-year-old ‘Baba’ is an agile left-back who will join the Superliga squad in the new season, as the young defender has signed a contract with FC Nordsjælland. Therefore, he will be in Farum when the Superliga team returns from holiday on June 24.”
FC Nordsjaelland finished fourth in the just-ended 2023/24 season in the Danish Superliga with 58 points after 32 matches.
