FC Samatex Jabs GFA Over Preposterous And Unwarranted Letter Ahead Of Matchday 16

Chief Executive Officer, Richard D. Nsenkyire in a written response to the FA’s letter requesting for adequate security for their home game against Skyy FC as quite preposterous and unwarranted given that, Samartex as a home team has not officially complained to the FA about it’s inability to arrange for adequate security for the game given that the onus lies on them to make arrangements as mandated in the FA’s statutes.

He further stress that, neither has the District Police chiefs nor the Regional Security Council have indicated to them with nine(9) good days to the match that they’ve detected a security threat to the match to warrant Military presence.

They believe that this could then premise them to immediately start educating their supporters in and around Samreboi to comport themselves and adhere to the security measures that would be put in place to forestall any rowdy behavior which could Mar and disrupt the match and send wrong signals to prospective investors in the sports.

In continuation, they also find it quite disappointing and heartbreaking when officialdom seem to be aiding certain teams to qualify ahead of others by not giving a level playing ground to all the teams in the competition.

They strongly oppose the Military security arrangements as they see it as an imposition to cow them into submission and push an undesirable agenda to give undue advantage to other teams to qualify ahead of them.

Also, the mere presence of the Military will send wrong signals to their supporters in the entire Wassa Amenfi and Aowin Traditional Area which equally needs Premiership football to entertain themselves.

Above is the response letter from Samartex to the Ghana football association General Secretary.
