Ex-deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon Vincent Oppong Asamoah has revealed he is unable to access the current administration at the Ghana Football Association due to the crises that have hit the nation’s football in the past and at present.
According to Oppong Asamoah, the Kurt Okraku led administration took over from an unorganized normalization committee which they needed to start from scratch, and just when things seemed better, the world got hit with the coronavirus pandemic.
“On what bases are you accessing the current administration?” The Honorable quizzed in an interview with Takoradi based Spice 91.9 Fm.
“They took over from a normalization committee who made the situation worse. They started on a very good note and suddenly COVID 19 introduced itself and personally I pity the Kurt Okraku administration.”
There have been several consultations between the Ghana Football Association and the government of Ghana to get football running with strict measures in place to combat COVID 19.
