The Black Princesses of Ghana have departed from Accra in preparation for the 2024 Women’s U-20 World Cup final qualifier against Senegal’s Young Lions of Teranga.

The first leg of this thrilling duel kicks off on January 13 in Thies, Senegal, with the return match scheduled for January 21 in Kumasi, Ghana.

Ghana goes into this crucial encounter on the heels of an impressive 8-1 aggregate victory against Swaziland, while Senegal secured a 2-1 aggregate win over Uganda.

Head Coach Yussif Basigi has meticulously selected a 23-woman squad for this crucial match, featuring key players such as Comfort Yeboah, Tracy Twum, and Mary Amponsah.

The Black Princesses aspires to secure qualification for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup for the seventh consecutive time, with the tournament slated to be held in Colombia later this year.
