Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus visited St. Nicholas Charity Preparatory School in Tema Newtown(Ghana), urging students to prioritize education.
The West Ham winger stressed the importance of learning for a brighter future.
“I understand the challenges you face because I faced them too,” Kudus confided in the students. “Education is your key to a better future. Stay focused and work hard, and you can achieve anything.”
Kudo’s visit, facilitated by Ghana Black Stars team doctor Dr. Pambo, included interactive activities like basketball and football demonstrations. The former FC Nordsjaelland midfielder also delivered a motivational speech that resonated with both students and staff.
Sharing his own journey from a deprived background, Kudus inspired the students to dream big and take their education seriously. Dr. Pambo echoed Kudus’ message, highlighting the impact of his visit. “Coming from a similar background, I know how important it is for these children to see that their dreams are achievable. Mohammed’s visit is a beacon of hope for them,” he said.
Kudus’ impressive debut season at West Ham saw him score 18 goals and provide 7 assists, helping the team finish ninth in the Premier League table. Now, he sets his sights on the upcoming season opener against Aston Villa on August 17.
