Ghanaian forward Ebenezer Assifuah was on fire for Kedah Darul Aman in their dominant 5-0 victory over Bukit Tambun in the Malaysia FA Cup round of 16.
Assifuah bagged a hat-trick, propelling his team to a comfortable win and a spot in the quarter-finals.

Kedah started strong, with Milos Gordic opening the scoring in the 15th minute. Amirul Hisyam Awang Kechik added another in the 20th minute before Assifuah took center stage. The 30-year-old striker netted his first goal just before halftime in the 39th minute. Ebenezer Assifuah continued his scoring spree in the second half. Completing his hat-trick with goals in the 68th and 79th minutes.
This impressive performance brings Assifuah’s goal tally to 3 goals in just 2 appearances for Kedah Darul Aman this season. He is a proven goal scorer, having won the top scorer award at the FIFA U20 World Cup. In 2013 with a staggering 6 goals Ghana secured a third-place finish.
Kedah Darul Aman now set their sights on the quarter-finals, where they will face Peng in a two-legged tie. The first leg kicks off on June 28th. However, before that, they will have to switch focus to the Malaysia Super League. Where they face the same opponent on June 22nd.
