Former Simba FC defender Kwasi Asante is nearing a switch to Ghanaian powerhouse Asante Kotoko, 48 hours to the closure of the transfer window.
The Porcupine Warriors are keen to add the hugely experienced defender to their stock as they continue to put together a solid team.
Asante is expected to sign a permanent contract with the record Ghanaian Premier League holders.
Kotoko have already augmented their squad with the acquisition of a number of top stars including evergreen striker Samson Eduku.
