On Sunday night at the Austrian Tpico Bundesliga match between Red Bull Salzburg and Austria Wien, Ghanaian midfielder Forson Amankwah scored.
Ten minutes into the second half, the former West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC graduate broke the match’s tie after 45 minutes of play.
He participated for 85 minutes of the game as the Red and Whites team triumphed 2-0 at home to take the lead in the standings after three matches with nine points.
Last season, he played 28 games, starting 13 and scoring only one but this season, in the 3 matches he started, he has scored one goal.
He’s aiming to better off his tally that he had last season and also hoping to be more consistent this season to earn a National team call- up
